Is it just me or does everybody else think they have a greater meaning in life and that they will acheive something unique?

*no signs of this so far

    nope, its not only u, i always think there is so much more, and if i keep my eye on the prize, and work hard, i will get it, one way or another.. there is a bigger plan..

    I believe that we all will achieve something unique and to be remembered, someday. Well if it’s not remembered or valued by the people, it will be by our loved ones. And that is enough for me. :)

    I don’t think like that, but I love it when people think like that, it’s good there is nothing wrong about it :)
    Plus, the fingerprints are enough evidence of uniqueness, so imagnie in the diversified field of human’s behavior, perceptions and attitudes, then there’s much more, and there come the branding of persons as marketable entities :D
    Did you get my point, if not then 3adi, cause I can’t comprehend myself either ;)

    I just kinda go with the flow and take things oen day at a time…but with that mentality I do think I achieved something unique

    I don’t think i will achieve something worldwide, i feel that it will be on a smaller scale, but it’s not the regular housewife or mother role. I agree Jasim having loved ones appreciate you is an achievement of its own as well.

    Lool Jerusalem!! :) i think i get your point, but then again i am have a feeling that it is more than my uniqueness as a productive individual.

    Assom same here, i am not a planner, that’s the funny part :) but i feel that someday during my wandering in life i will hit something.

    well its human nature, people are social creatures, they subconsiously build certain ambitions and as time goes by they tend to modify them due to the constant change in their lives, so when their ultimate ambition becomes further than the possibility of making it true they tend to blame that on the uniqeness of their ambition, people who want to be rich are content with being in “the world of the rich” even if they themselves cant afford it!

    thanks Ammar :) that’s very well said, except my probelm is that i just have a feeling i will do sth someday, but don’t know what it is or when, and this feeling has been with me for a long time. it felt a little bit weird to me so i just wanted to know if anyone else shares my weirdness :)

    Yes we all have weird feelings of hidden glory to come, again its human nature, its a long argument that could take hours to explain but the bottom line is that you’re normal, dont worry!

    bas i wouldnt always be going for the high prize..

    lool :) by now you have finished studying so i’ll be honest with ya, you were swimming in the same pool :).

    this is interesting, but if you are not aspiring for the big prize you will not achieve it although you might have the potential to. of course we don’t want to end up frustrating ourselves along the way.
